Proto was a project done for the Art Institute of California – San Diego’s Game Prototyping and Advanced Game Prototyping classes (Fall 2017/Winter2018).

The goal of the project was to experiment with game mechanics and find one that would be the focus of the game. For Proto, the focus was the crafting and inventory system. So I created several iterations of a crafting based on feedback we received back from weekly testing.

Other tasks I did which were not the focus were basic player movement and combat.
